I begin with the premise that our physical world begins in the World of Dreams (Dreamtime). In dreams, we meet, plan, try out, and create — individually and collectively – what then becomes manifest in the physical world. I assume that the consensus reality of waking life (often called ‘real’ life), is only one version of a larger reality, and that the World of Dreams continues to speak to us (individually and collectively) in this physical world. Being able to hear/see the larger Dream World behind and within the physical world can enrich our waking life. Understanding one’s dreams is more about connecting with the Wisdom within (including body-based wisdom), and not quite so much about intellectual analysis (although that tool does have a place). Consequently, my approach to dreamwork is very eclectic and draws upon many tools and resources. (remind me to post a link to the Frasier/cat dream).
